I'm a researcher of marine electromagnetic (EM) survey. The EM survey illuminates
the underground world (sub-surface and sub-seafloor geological structures)
where the sun light cannot reach. The EM "eye" is useful for
energy resource explorations, environmental researches and disaster mitigations.
Especially, my recent targets are follows: mega-earthquake zones, oil,
gas, methane hydrate, seafloor metal deposits, groundwater flow, and the
related exploration and monitoring technologies. Field experiments on land/seafloor
are necessary but also developments of numerical simulations, data analysis
technologies and interpretation techniques are essential. |
